Carl Newton is a Republican representative serving Oklahoma House District 58, which includes areas such as Cherokee, Alfalfa, Garfield, Major, Woods, and Woodward counties, encompassing towns like Enid, Waynoka, and Woodward. Born in Waynoka, Oklahoma, he is an optometrist who practiced for many years in Cherokee before selling his eye clinic; he also owns a family farm.
