Adam A. Goode

Adam A. Goode was born on September 9, 1983, and is an American politician from Maine representing House District 127. A Democrat, Goode has been actively involved in Maine politics and labor advocacy, bringing a background in environmental and community organizing to his work in public service.

Political Experience

Goode was elected to the Maine House of Representatives from Bangor's District 15 in November 2008 and was re-elected in 2010, 2012, and 2014. During his tenure in the legislature, he served as the former chair of the Taxation Committee and is a member of the Insurance and Financial Services Committee.

Beyond the statehouse, Goode currently serves as the Maine AFL-CIO Legislative and Political Director, a position that reflects his strong commitment to labor rights and working families. Previously, he worked as an Environmental Organizer with the Maine People's Alliance and Maine People's Resource Center, establishing himself as an advocate for environmental justice and sustainable communities.

Education

Goode is pursuing a master's degree in Social Work from the University of Maine. He is also the Head Boys and Girls Cross Country Coach at Bangor High School, his alma mater, demonstrating his ongoing commitment to his community and youth development.
