About
Adam Brown is a former Republican member of the Illinois House of Representatives, born in 1985. He represented the 101st and 102nd districts, including District 102 , primarily serving areas around Decatur, Illinois.
Notable achievements include narrowly defeating incumbent Democrat Robert Flider by 599 votes in the 2010 election for the 101st District, securing his seat in a competitive race. In 2011, he co-proposed statehood for Cook County alongside Representative Bill Mitchell. He announced his retirement from the House in September 2015 after serving in the 97th and 98th General Assemblies.
