About

Adam J. Taliaferro is a Democratic member of the New Jersey General Assembly representing District 3 in South Jersey. A former Penn State football player, he overcame a severe spinal cord injury sustained during a 2000 game, leading to paralysis, and later entered politics unexpectedly. He was appointed to the Assembly in 2020 following Assemblywoman Celeste Riley's resignation, served one term until 2022, and took the oath of office as the district's newest lawmaker.
