About
Adam Koenig, a Republican, represented District 69 in the Kentucky House of Representatives from 2007 to 2022. Born on February 22, 1971, he served as the first Republican Chairman of the House Licensing, Occupations and Administrative Regulations Committee and was a member of committees on Banking and Insurance, Local Government, Education, Economic Development, and Workforce Development. Notable achievements include sponsoring legislation to repeal the prevailing wage, modernize Kentucky’s workers' compensation system , allow direct shipment of alcohol, and advance historic horse racing; he was also a leading proponent of sports betting in Kentucky.
