About

Adam Christopher Moore is a Democratic member of the Kentucky House of Representatives, representing District 45 since January 1, 2025. He won election in 2024 with 50.3% of the vote, flipping the seat from Republican incumbent Killian Timoney by defeating Thomas Jefferson. A Lexington resident, self-employed small business owner, and Army veteran deployed to Africa and Afghanistan , Moore advocates for working families, public schools, affordable healthcare, and personal freedoms. He serves on Lexington’s Commission on Veterans Affairs and is involved with Kentuckians for the Commonwealth, Moms Demand Action, and Progress Kentucky.

Education and Political Experience

  • Education: Graduated from Western Hills High School; earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs from Murray State University in 2007.
  • Early Career: Worked for Kentucky legislators in Washington, D.C.; enlisted in U.S. Army Reserve post-graduation.
  • Political Experience: Elected to Kentucky House in 2024; assumed office January 2025 as state representative for District 45.
