About
Adrian Fisher
Adrian Fisher is an American Democrat representing House District 16 in the Louisiana House of Representatives, serving the parishes of Morehouse and Ouachita. He assumed office on December 6, 2021, following his election in November 2021. Beyond his legislative role, Fisher is a businessman and pastor who operates cognitive development centers and works as a licensed counselor in the behavioral health industry.
Education
Fisher earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Southern University and A&M College and a Master of Science degree in community counseling from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
Political Experience
Fisher serves on several House committees, including Agriculture, Forestry, Aquaculture, and Rural Development; Appropriations; and Health and Welfare. He is also a member of the Joint Legislative Committee on the Budget and the House Select Committee on Homeland Security. Additionally, Fisher holds leadership roles in the Louisiana Legislative Black Caucus, Louisiana Rural Caucus, and serves as Treasurer of the Democratic Caucus. He is eligible to serve through the 2028 term.
