Representative Agostinho F. Silva

Agostinho F. Silva is a Democratic member of the Rhode Island House of Representatives representing District 56, which includes Central Falls. He has served the people of Central Falls since his initial election in November 2006. Silva has demonstrated a strong commitment to his community, particularly during Central Falls' financial crisis, assisting in legislative efforts that helped lead the city out of receivership.

Outside of his legislative role, Silva works as an operations manager.

Silva has been recognized for his public service, receiving the "Government Award 2007" from the Portuguese American Citizens Committee.
