Alan Hays is a Republican politician and public servant who previously represented Florida Senate District 11 from 2010 to 2020. Born on March 12, 1946, in Henderson, Kentucky, he moved to Florida at age four. A retired dentist, he transitioned to public service, serving in the Florida House of Representatives from 2004 to 2010 before his Senate tenure. Since 2016, he has served as Lake County's Supervisor of Elections, where he has focused on election integrity, countering misinformation, and efficient administration.
