Alec Garnett is a former Democratic member of the Colorado House of Representatives, representing House District 2 in Denver County. He served from 2015 to 2023, rising to prominent leadership roles including Majority Leader and Speaker of the House from 2021 to 2023. Notable achievements include election as Speaker in November 2020 and subsequent service as Governor Jared Polis' chief of staff from January 2023 to September 2024.
