Alexandra Kasser is a Democratic politician, attorney, and advocate who served as a member of the Connecticut State Senate representing the 36th district from January 2019 to June 2021. A political newcomer in 2018, she defeated five-term Republican incumbent Scott Frantz, becoming the first Democrat elected to this seat since 1933 and the first to represent Greenwich in the State Senate since 1930.

Education and Political Experience

Kasser practiced corporate law at Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom. She earned the Democratic nomination for the 36th district in 2020 but resigned from the Senate in June 2021.
