Alex Sauickie is a Republican Assemblyman representing New Jersey's 12th Legislative District. A lifelong resident of Jackson Township, he was sworn into the New Jersey General Assembly in September 2022. Born on January 25, 1971, he is a father of five and lives with his wife, Margaret , in Jackson Township. An avid marathoner and IRONMAN triathlete, he has a background in financial technology, having served as CEO and COO of multiple software companies, developed Merrill Edge at Merrill Lynch, and currently works as a consultant in financial services, heading wealth management for Fidelity Information Services Inc. Notable achievements include championing soil requirements, reduced fees for volunteer first responders, and a successful open space preservation fund ballot question as a councilman; he also chaired the Kimball Medical Center Foundation for two years and was recognized for humanitarian work in 2010. He serves on the Assembly Committee on Military and Veterans' Affairs.
