He represented Maryland's 18th District in Montgomery County as a member of the Maryland House of Delegates from December 20, 2007, to January 11, 2023. Born on November 2, 1965, in Cleveland, Ohio, he previously served on the Town Council of Kensington , including as Mayor Pro Tem . Notable achievements include sponsoring House Bills 742 and 1604 in his first year, leadership on the Joint Committee on Federal Relations, and service on committees addressing environment, transportation, health, government operations, clean energy, consumer protection, education, and public safety.
