Allen Blackmon (27)

Allen Blackmon is a Republican state senator representing District 27 in South Carolina, covering Chesterfield, Kershaw, and Lancaster Counties. A lifelong South Carolina resident, husband, father, grandfather, Christian, and conservative, he was born on Langley Air Force Base as the son of an Air Force veteran, instilling in him a strong sense of service. He serves on the Senate Banking and Insurance, Fish, Game and Forestry, Judiciary, Rules, and Transportation committees. Blackmon won the Republican nomination and defeated Democratic nominee Yokima Cureton in the general election.
