Allen Fletcher

Allen Fletcher is a Republican who served as a State Representative for Texas House District 130, which encompasses areas in northwest Houston and Harris County. He was first elected to the Texas House in 2008 and served multiple terms as a legislator before retiring from the position.

Education

Fletcher graduated from both the Houston Police Academy and the East Texas Police Academy. He also earned both undergraduate and graduate degrees.

Political Experience

Fletcher brought extensive law enforcement experience to his legislative role, having served in various capacities with the Houston Police Department. During his tenure in the Texas House, he was rated on fiscal responsibility metrics, receiving grades including B+ , B- , and C- from fiscal watchdog organizations.
