Allen Kerr

Allen Kerr is a Republican politician from Little Rock, Arkansas who has had a distinguished career in public service and the insurance industry. With nearly four decades of experience in business, Kerr has built a reputation as a knowledgeable figure in insurance and regulatory matters.

Political Experience

Kerr served as an elected member of the Arkansas House of Representatives from District 32 in Little Rock from 2008 to 2014. During his tenure in the state legislature, he forged relationships that would later inform his work in regulatory affairs.

Following his legislative service, Kerr was appointed as Arkansas's 23rd State Insurance Commissioner, serving from January 2015 until March 27, 2020, under Governor Asa Hutchinson's administration.
