Allen Peake is a Republican representative for District 141 in the Georgia House of Representatives, based in Macon, Georgia. Born and raised in Macon on February 17, he owns a restaurant and has served since being sworn in on January 8, 2007. He is married to Betsy and resides at 103 Colony Court, Macon. Notable achievements include chairing the Medical Cannabis Working Group, serving as Vice-Chair of Ways and Means, and leadership roles such as Majority Caucus Secretary/Treasurer on the House Leadership Team. He has authored legislation on historic tax credits, adoption improvements, and Alzheimer's protections, earning Legislator of the Year from the Advocacy Resource Center and selection for the Emerging Political Leaders Program at the University of Virginia’s Darden School. Hobbies include running, competitive golf , and scuba diving.

Education and Political Experience

  • Education: Graduated from First Presbyterian Day School, attended Auburn University, earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Mercer University, and attended Dallas Theological Seminary.
  • Professional Background: Began as accounting supervisor for RMS Family Restaurants, later past president of Georgia Timberlands, and involved in the Georgia Republican Party.
  • Political Committees: Appropriations , Health & Human Services , Rules , Small Business Development , Ways & Means ; also Republican Caucus Policy and Politics Committee.
  • Experience: In his multiple terms , re-elected to leadership in 2012, graduated from Georgia Legislative Leadership Institute.
