About

Representative Andi LeBeau

Andi LeBeau is a Democratic politician from Riverton, Wyoming, who represented House District 33 in the Wyoming House of Representatives. She grew up on the Wind River Indian Reservation and is a member of the Indigenous communities in the region.

LeBeau was elected to the Wyoming House in 2019 and served two terms representing District 33, which encompasses the southwestern corner of the Wind River Indian Reservation and sparsely populated areas south of Lander, stretching over 100 miles from the Wind River Range south of Dubois to the northern Red Desert.

Political Experience

During her tenure in the state legislature, LeBeau held significant leadership positions. She served as House Minority Whip for the 2021-2022 session, making her the second-ranking Democrat in the Wyoming House.

LeBeau was an active legislator who served on three legislative committees:
- House Corporations, Elections and Political Subdivisions
- House Labor, Health and Social Services
- Select Committee on Tribal Relations

Throughout her legislative work, she focused on representing all residents in her diverse district, advocating for agriculture, rural water systems, and public education. Her district includes some of the state's largest Indigenous communities—Crowhart, Fort Washakie, and Ethete—as well as many non-Native farming communities.

LeBeau lost her re-election bid in November 2022 to Republican challenger Sarah Penn.
