About
Andres “Andy” Pico is a Republican who represented House District 16 in the Colorado House of Representatives, covering north central Colorado Springs in El Paso County. Elected in 2020, he won the general election with 23,842 votes against two opponents. A retired naval flight officer with 21 years of active duty, he later worked over 16 years as a defense contractor. Pico advocates for transportation and freight rail infrastructure. He previously served two terms as the District-6 representative on Colorado Springs City Council, on the Board of Directors for Colorado Springs Utilities , and on the Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments . While in the House, he served on the Transportation & Local Affairs Committee and the Energy & Environment Committee.
