Andrew Martin (9)

Andrew Martin is a Democratic politician and certified public accountant representing Nevada's 9th Assembly District from February 4, 2013, to January 2015. He has served as Clark County Democratic Party Chair, a member of the Nevada State Economic Forum, and a member of the Clark County School District Bond Oversight Committee. Notable achievements include sponsoring SJR-13, a joint resolution to amend Nevada's constitution to legalize same-sex marriage, which passed the Assembly 27–14 and the Senate 12–9. He also cosponsored AB-395, making it illegal for common interest community managers, employees, or board members to intimidate, harass, or bully residents or guests. His 2012 election faced a residency challenge, with a judge ruling him ineligible just before the vote, yet he was sworn in.
