Andria Pilialoha Lagimanino Tupola, born December 6, 1980, in Kahuku, Oʻahu, is a Republican politician currently serving as Honolulu City Councilmember for District 1 since January 2021, with her current term from 2021-2025. She previously represented District 43 in the Hawaii House of Representatives from 2014 to 2018 as a Republican, where she served as Minority Floor Leader in 2015 and Minority Leader, becoming the first Samoan woman in that role. Notable achievements include her 2018 run as the Republican nominee for Governor of Hawaii, where she received 33% of the vote; being the youngest and only native woman Republican gubernatorial candidate that cycle; and her 2014 election upset as the only candidate to unseat an incumbent. She holds the position of Council Vice Chair and chairs the Housing, Homelessness & Parks committee, while serving as Vice Chair of International & Legal Affairs, among others. She resides in Māʻili with her husband and two children.
