Andy Eisen

Andrew 'Andy' Mark Eisen was born in 1969 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is an American politician and member of the Democratic Party. Eisen represented District 21 in the Nevada Assembly from November 2012 to November 2014, when he was defeated by Republican Derek Armstrong in the 2014 election .

Education

Eisen earned his BS in Medicine and MD from Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, Illinois, completing his medical degree in 1994. He completed his pediatric residency at Phoenix Children's Hospital and Maricopa Medical Center from 1994 to 1997, serving as Chief Resident in Pediatrics during 1996-1997.

Political Experience and Notable Achievements

Beyond his legislative service in the Nevada Assembly, Eisen has held several significant positions in medical education and professional organizations:

  • Associate Dean for Clinical Education at Touro University Nevada
  • Medical Director of the Touro University Nevada Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities
