Andy Kerr (22)

Andy Kerr is a Democratic politician and educator serving as Jefferson County Commissioner for District 2 in Colorado since 2021. Born Andrew Steven Kerr on October 21, 1968, he previously represented Senate District 22 from 2013 to 2019 and the Colorado House District 26 from 2006 to 2013. Notable achievements include rising to Assistant Majority Leader in the House and championing education, renewable energy, and working families.

Education and Political Experience

• Education: Attended Foothills Elementary, Dunstan Middle School, and Green Mountain High School in Lakewood; earned a bachelor's in geography, master's in Information and Learning Technologies, and principal's license from the University of Colorado.
