Biography

Byron Donalds, born on October 28, 1978, in Brooklyn, New York, is a Republican politician representing Florida's 19th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. Raised by a single mother, he graduated from Nazareth Regional High School in 1996. After attending Florida A&M University, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and marketing from Florida State University in 2002. Before entering politics, Donalds worked in the banking, finance, and insurance industries. He resides in Naples, Florida, with his wife, Erika, and their three sons: Damon, Darin, and Mason.
