Biography

Chris Deluzio, born on July 13, 1984, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is a Democratic member of the U.S. House of Representatives, serving Pennsylvania's 17th congressional district since January 3, 2023. The district encompasses all of Beaver County and parts of Allegheny County. An Iraq War veteran, voting rights attorney, and union organizer, Deluzio resides in Allegheny County with his wife, Zoë, their three children, and their dog, Yankee Doodle.

Education and Political Experience

• Education:

  • Bachelor of Science from the United States Naval Academy, 2006
  • Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center, 2013

• Military Service:

  • Commissioned as an active-duty surface warfare officer in the U.S. Navy
  • Completed three deployments, including a tour with U.S. Army Civil Affairs in Iraq
