Colleen M. Garry, born July 21, 1962, in Lowell, Massachusetts, is a Democrat representing the 36th Middlesex District in the Massachusetts House of Representatives, which includes the towns of Dracut and Tyngsborough. She is a conservative member of the House Democratic Caucus and has served continuously since her first election in 1994 to a district then including Dracut, Tyngsborough, and Dunstable . Garry is also a practicing attorney with the Law Offices of Colleen M. Garry in Dracut. Notable positions include her role as a former aide to State Representative John Cox; she won re-election in 2002 with 57% of the vote and holds office until January 6, 2027. In 2015, she drew controversy for criticizing Black Lives Matter protesters as "terrorists" and calling structural racism a "fraud."

Education and Political Experience
