Biography
Daniel Milton Newhouse, born on July 10, 1955, in Sunnyside, Washington, is a third-generation Yakima Valley farmer and a dedicated public servant. He has represented Washington's 4th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives since 2015. A member of the Republican Party, Newhouse brings extensive experience in agriculture and state governance to his role in Congress. He resides in Sunnyside with his wife, Joan, and continues to operate an 850-acre farm producing hops, tree fruit, and grapes.

- Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics from Washington State University, 1977.

- Served four terms in the Washington State House of Representatives, representing the 15th Legislative District from 2003 to 2009.
