Dave McCormick is a Republican U.S. Senator representing Pennsylvania since 2025 as the junior senator for the state's Class 1 seat. Born on August 17, 1965, in Washington, Pennsylvania, and raised in Bloomsburg by two educators—his father a college president and chancellor, his mother a school administrator—he is a former Army officer, businessman, and government official. He narrowly won the 2024 election against incumbent Democrat Bob Casey Jr., following a 2022 Republican primary loss. Married to Dina with four children and two stepdaughters, he is Presbyterian and supports veterans' organizations.
