Biography
Frank Joseph Pallone Jr., born on October 30, 1951, in Long Branch, New Jersey, is a Democratic member of the U.S. House of Representatives, serving New Jersey's 6th Congressional District since 1988. The district encompasses most of Middlesex County and parts of Monmouth County, including New Brunswick, Asbury Park, and Perth Amboy.
Throughout his tenure, Pallone has been a staunch advocate for affordable healthcare, environmental protection, and consumer rights. He played a pivotal role in authoring and passing the Affordable Care Act in 2010 and has consistently worked to safeguard New Jersey's coastline from offshore drilling.
Pallone currently serves as the Ranking Member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, one of the oldest and most influential committees in Congress, overseeing areas such as healthcare, energy, and environmental policy.
