Walter "Gerry" Runte Jr. is a Democratic member of the Maine House of Representatives, representing House District 146 . Elected in November 2022 against Republican Bradley Moulton, he assumed office on December 7, 2022, and is serving his second term as of 2026. A retired professional with a career in the electric utility and clean energy sectors, Runte prioritizes environmental protection, climate action, and sustainability. He serves on the Energy, Utilities and Technology Committee and the Leaves of Absence Committee.
