Biography

James R. Langevin is a U.S. Representative known for his service as a Democratic member of Congress. He represents Rhode Island’s 2nd congressional district. Langevin has the distinction of being the first quadriplegic to serve in the United States House of Representatives, advocating strongly for issues related to veterans, national security, and technology. He has been noted for his work on cybersecurity and support for disabled veterans.
