Biography
Jodey Cook Arrington, born on March 9, 1972, in Plainview, Texas, is a Republican politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Texas' 19th Congressional District since January 3, 2017. Raised by a tractor salesman and a schoolteacher, Arrington has dedicated his career to public service, focusing on agriculture, energy, and national security. In January 2023, he was elected Chairman of the House Budget Committee, emphasizing fiscal responsibility and addressing the national debt.
