Joe Angelino represents New York State Assembly District 121, comprising parts of Broome, Chenango, Delaware, Madison, and Otsego counties. Born December 24, 1959, he is a lifelong Central New York resident, former police chief of Norwich, retired U.S. Marine Corps Sergeant Major, and three-time combat veteran who earned two Purple Heart medals. Elected to the Assembly on November 3, 2020, he advocates for law enforcement, veterans, and the middle class; notable achievements include the Chenango County Bar Association Liberty Bell Award and Distinguished Citizen Award. He is married to Kendall Saber, a nurse practitioner, and serves as a volunteer firefighter with the Norwich Fire Department.

- Early Career and Military Service: Rose through ranks as police officer and sergeant in Norwich Police Department; served nearly 20 years as Chief of Police . Enlisted in U.S. Marine Corps Reserves in 1985; tank commander in Desert Storm; infantry 1st Sgt in Iraq ; retired as Sergeant Major in 2008.
