Biography

Josh Brecheen, born on June 19, 1979, in Ada, Oklahoma, is a fourth-generation rancher and a committed Christian. He currently serves as the U.S. Representative for Oklahoma's 2nd Congressional District, a position he has held since January 3, 2023. Prior to his tenure in Congress, Brecheen served in the Oklahoma State Senate from 2010 to 2018, representing the 6th district. He is married to Kacie, and together they have four children. The family resides on their ranch in Coal County, Oklahoma.

Education and Political Experience

  • Education: Brecheen attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University before transferring to Oklahoma State University, where he earned a dual degree in Agricultural Communications and Animal Science in 2002.
