Biography
Lois Jane Frankel, born on May 16, 1948, in New York City, is an American politician and attorney serving as the U.S. Representative for Florida's 22nd congressional district. A member of the Democratic Party, she has dedicated her career to public service, focusing on issues such as reproductive rights, social security, and healthcare affordability. Frankel is also known for her advocacy in gun violence prevention and women's rights.

Political Experience
- Florida House of Representatives: Served from 1986 to 1992 and from 1994 to 2002. During her tenure, she became the first female Democratic Minority Leader in Florida's history.
