Biography
Marie Gluesenkamp Pérez, born on June 4, 1988, in Harris County, Texas, is a fifth-generation Washingtonian and a member of the Democratic Party. She serves as the U.S. Representative for Washington's 3rd congressional district, a position she has held since January 3, 2023. Before her tenure in Congress, Marie co-owned an auto repair and machine shop with her husband, Dean, in Portland, Oregon. They reside in rural Skamania County, Washington, where they are raising their young son.

Education: Marie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Reed College in 2012.
