This district encompasses Rockland County, Putnam County, and parts of Westchester and Dutchess counties. Prior to his tenure in Congress, Lawler represented New York's 97th District in the State Assembly from 2021 to 2022. He resides in Pearl River, New York, with his wife, Doina, and their daughter, Julianna.
