Biography
Russ Fulcher, a fourth-generation Idahoan, was born on March 9, 1962, in Boise, Idaho, and raised on a dairy farm in Meridian. He has represented Idaho's 1st Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives since January 2019. Prior to his congressional tenure, Fulcher served in the Idaho State Senate from 2005 to 2014, including six years as Majority Caucus Chair. His notable legislative achievement includes authoring Idaho's grocery tax credit, which has returned approximately $800 million to taxpayers.
