Biography
Russell William Fry, born on January 31, 1985, in Surfside Beach, South Carolina, is an American politician and attorney serving as the U.S. Representative for South Carolina's 7th congressional district since 2023. Raised in a modest household, Fry learned the values of hard work and determination from his parents. He self-funded his education, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of South Carolina in 2007 and a Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law in 2011. During law school, he served as president of the Student Bar Association, contributed to the school's American Bar Association accreditation, and received the Civility Award. Before entering politics, Fry practiced law along the Grand Strand for over a decade. He is married to Bronwen, and they have a son named James.

Political Experience
South Carolina House of Representatives: Represented District 106 from 2015 to 2022.
