Prior to this, he served as the representative for Pennsylvania's 4th Congressional District from 2013 to 2019. Perry is a combat veteran, having retired as a Brigadier General from the Pennsylvania Army National Guard in 2019 after nearly 40 years of service. He is also the founder of Hydrotech Mechanical Services, a mechanical contracting firm established in 1993. Perry resides in Northern York County with his wife, Christy, and their two children.
