Biography
Sean Patrick Maloney is an American attorney and politician who served as the U.S. Ambassador to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development from April 2, 2024, to January 20, 2025. Prior to this appointment, he represented New York's 18th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2013 to 2023. Maloney was the first openly gay person elected to Congress from New York State and chaired the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee from 2021 to 2023.
