William Troy Balderson is a Republican U.S. Representative for Ohio's 12th Congressional District, which he has served since September 5, 2018. A lifelong Ohioan from Muskingum County, he is a businessman who co-owns Balderson Motor Sales in Zanesville and operates a family-owned farm in Salem Township. Married to Angela with one child, Joshua, Balderson is a principled conservative advocating for energy independence, Second Amendment rights, tax cuts, rural health care access, and job growth. Notable state achievements include voting for $5 billion in tax cuts, eliminating Ohio's deficit, and replenishing the rainy-day fund as Ohio Senate chairman of Energy and Natural Resources.
