Biography
Wesley Parish Hunt, born on November 13, 1981, in Houston, Texas, is a Republican politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Texas's 38th congressional district since January 3, 2023. Raised in a military family, Hunt attended St. John's School in Houston before accepting an appointment to the United States Military Academy at West Point. After graduating in 2004, he served eight years in the U.S. Army as an Aviation Branch Officer and AH-64D Apache Longbow helicopter pilot, including a combat deployment to Iraq and two deployments to Saudi Arabia as a Diplomatic Liaison Officer. Following his military service, Hunt earned three master's degrees from Cornell University. He is married to Emily Hunt, and they have three children: Victoria, Olivia, and Willie Parish Hunt II.
