ABOUT
Biography
Pat Harrigan, born on June 21, 1987, in San Diego County, California, is a Republican politician serving as the U.S. Representative for North Carolina's 10th Congressional District since January 3, 2025. A combat-decorated Green Beret and successful entrepreneur, Harrigan has dedicated his career to service and leadership.
After graduating from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a degree in Nuclear Engineering, Harrigan commissioned as an Infantry officer and was stationed at Fort Wainwright, Alaska. He deployed to Afghanistan as a young Platoon Leader, commanding a remote combat outpost in the Arghandab Valley. At 23, he managed over 350 personnel and $100 million in infrastructure and equipment. Recognizing the need for greater expertise in unconventional warfare, Harrigan volunteered for and earned the Green Beret, returning to Afghanistan to lead operations in increasingly complex environments. For his service, he earned two Bronze Stars.
While serving in the military, Harrigan and his wife, Rocky, launched a small firearms business from their home. The company grew rapidly, evolving into a manufacturing powerhouse producing American-made defense products in Western North Carolina.
Motivated by a dedication to his country and a desire to restore strength and accountability to Washington, Harrigan entered politics. He was sworn in as a member of the 119th Congress on January 3, 2025, representing North Carolina's 10th District, which includes Lincoln, Iredell, Catawba, Yadkin, and Forsyth counties.
Harrigan and his wife Rocky have been married for 13 years and are the proud parents of two daughters, Reagan and McKinley.
