Biography
Dave Min, born on March 5, 1976, in Providence, Rhode Island, is a first-generation Korean American and a member of the Democratic Party. He currently serves as the U.S. Representative for California's 47th Congressional District, having assumed office on January 3, 2025. Prior to his election to Congress, Min represented California's 37th State Senate District from 2020 to 2024. Before entering politics, he was a law professor at the University of California, Irvine, and held positions as an enforcement attorney at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and as a senior economic policy advisor to Senator Chuck Schumer.
