Biography
Elise Stefanik is the U.S. Representative for New York's 21st congressional district, serving since January 2015. Born July 2, 1984, in Albany, New York, Stefanik is recognized as one of the youngest women ever elected to Congress. She is a member of the Republican Party. Known for her focus on national security, military families, and rural economic development, Stefanik has gained prominence for her leadership as Chair of the House Republican Conference, making her the third-ranking House Republican. She is also noted for her vocal defense of former President Donald Trump and her involvement in several high-profile congressional investigations.
