Biography
Jeffrey George Crank, born on January 28, 1967, in Pueblo, Colorado, is an American politician and radio show host. He currently serves as the U.S. Representative for Colorado's 5th Congressional District. Prior to his election to Congress, Crank hosted a talk radio show on KVOR-AM and worked as a political consultant. He is a member of the Republican Party.

Political Experience:
- Served as a legislative assistant and later as administrative director for Representative Joel Hefley from 1991 to 1998.
- Vice President and Senior Vice President of the Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce.
- Elected Chairman of the 5th Congressional District Republican Central Committee in 2001 and 2003.
- Appointed to the Colorado Emergency Planning Commission by Governor Bill Owens in 2003.
- El Paso County co-chair for President George W. Bush’s re-election campaign in 2004.
- Colorado State Director for Americans for Prosperity from 2009 to 2013.
Notable Achievements
- Played a key role in preventing the closure of Fort Carson during a nationwide base realignment and closure process.
- Instrumental in providing for military housing and helped write the Military Family Housing Privatization Act.
