Biography
Representative Lou Correa, a Democrat, has been serving California's 46th Congressional District—which includes the cities of Santa Ana, Anaheim, Orange, Stanton, and Fullerton—since 2017. Born on January 24, 1958, in East Los Angeles, he is the son of working-class parents who immigrated from Mexico. His mother worked as a hotel housekeeper, and his father was employed at a paper mill. Correa's upbringing instilled in him a strong work ethic and a commitment to public service. He resides in Santa Ana with his wife, Esther, and their four children.
