Biography
Nicole Malliotakis, born on November 11, 1980, in Manhattan, New York City, is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for New York's 11th congressional district since January 3, 2021. Her district encompasses Staten Island and parts of Southern Brooklyn. She is the only Republican representing New York City in Congress. Malliotakis is the daughter of immigrants; her father hails from Greece, and her mother is a Cuban exile who fled the Castro dictatorship. She was raised in the Greek Orthodox faith and is a passionate advocate for animal rights, often spending her spare time with her chihuahua, Luna.
