Biography
Lori Trahan, born on October 27, 1973, in Lowell, Massachusetts, is a Democratic member of the U.S. House of Representatives, serving Massachusetts' 3rd Congressional District since January 3, 2019. The district encompasses 35 cities and towns, including Lowell, Lawrence, and Concord. Raised in a working-class family, Trahan's father was a union ironworker, and her mother managed part-time jobs while caring for her and her three sisters. She is married to David Trahan, and together they have two daughters and three stepsons.
Education
- Georgetown University: Bachelor of Science in Regional and Comparative Studies, 1995.
- Harvard Business School: Completed the Advanced Management Program, 2013.

- Chief of Staff to Congressman Marty Meehan: 1995–2005.
